Our waterpipe percolator cores currently come in two different variations: X3 and X5.

X3:  3-chamber equivalent.

X5:  5-Chamber equivalent

Retention Barrel Technology

Designed and patented by JET our retention barrel nozzle geometry ensures that the bubbles remain separate and as small as possible, which translates into maximum percolation!

Our JT-X5 diffuser is equipped with 49 retention barrels, and our JT-X3 diffuser is equipped with 23 retention barrels.

Clog Prevention

Not only were our retention barrel percs designed for maximum filtration, but we also added in some clog protection.

When smoke travels through the diffuser, it must first pass through the "nozzle" which just so happens to be the smallest and therefore most likely region to clog.  So in order to keep the waterpipe from clogging, we reduced the height, H of the nozzle thereby reducing the amount of surface area available for the tar to deposit on.

This guarantees that you will spend more time smoking and less time unclogging your waterpipe.

CFD engineered

Here at JET waterpipes, we use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) as an aid in the design of our pipes.  CFD gives us extremely accurate data relating to the temperature and pressure of the smoke while passing through cavities and chambers of varying size and materials.  CFD can also show us how the thermal energy passes from one material to the next.

What does this mean?

Having the ability to quantify pressure and temperature at various locations gave us insight into the non-visible, non-obvious behavior of the smoke.  Insight that was then used to mathematically tune the core's geometry for optimal, unmatched smoke filtration.  Basically ensuring that the tars get removed and the smoke (properly) gets diffused, giving you one of the cleanest draws available.

Unscrews for easy cleaning
